Zirgan 0.15% is an antiviral medicine used to treat viral infections caused by cytomegalovirus in immunocompromised people who have undergone an organ or bone marrow transplantation. Zirgan 0.15% is an antiviral medication which treats viral infections of the eye. It works by preventing the multiplication of the virus on the surface of your eyeball (cornea). This stops the production of new viruses and clears up your eye infection.
What if you forget to take Zirgan 0.15%?
If you miss a dose of Zirgan 0.15%, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
