How Amarin works
Amarin is an antiallergic medication. It works by blocking the action of a chemical messenger (histamine). This relieves symptoms of severe allergic reactions due to insect bite/sting, certain medicines, hives (rashes, swelling etc).
What if you forget to take Amarin?
If you miss a dose of Amarin, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Avoid driving or operating dangerous machinery as it may decrease alertness.
Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Amarin, as it may cause excessive sleepiness or drowsiness.
