Ontaxel IV is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Please consult your doctor.

Ontaxel IV is unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Data suggests that the drug may cause toxicity to the baby.

Ontaxel IV may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
As there is no reason why you cannot continue driving between courses of Ontaxel IV but you should remember that this medicine contains some alcohol and it may be unwise to drive
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Ontaxel IV is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Ontaxel IV is recommended.
However, talk to your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
CAUTION
Ontaxel IV should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Ontaxel IV may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Ontaxel IV is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
