Indication

Trigeminal neuralgia, optic neuritis, lumbago sciatica, peripheral neuritis. Skin & nervous system, Neuritis of pregnancy, Fertility

Adult Dose

Oral Adult: 1-2 tablet daily or divided doses. Parenteral Adult: 1 ampoule (2 ml) given via SC, IM or IV routes daily or can be given 1 ampoule 2-3 times a week..

Contraindication

Contraindicated in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Patients receiving levodopa.

Mode of Action

Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin which functions in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and fats. It is essential in Hb formation and GABA synthesis within the CNS. It also aids in the release of glycogen stored in the liver and muscles. ...
