Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Traxyl 500 is to be taken with food.

Traxyl 500 is an anti-fibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots to control excessive bleeding during periods, or after surgery.
What if you forget to take Traxyl 500?
If you miss a dose of Traxyl 500, skip it and continue with your normal schedule. Do not double the dose.

Your doctor will prescribe the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time necessary to relieve your symptoms.
If taking for heavy periods, take it on the first day as taking it before or after will not have any benefit.
Your doctor may monitor your vision regularly while you are taking this medicine.
