If you miss a dose of Levemir Flexpen, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

This medicine should be injected under the skin (subcutaneously) at the same time every day, as advised by your doctor.
Injection below the skin of the abdomen results in faster absorption than other injection sites.
