Gentasol is an antibiotic used to prevent or treat a wide variety of bacterial infections. This may include infections of the urinary tract, bones and joints, lungs (eg. pneumonia), brain (eg. meningitis), sepsis and some others. However, it is not effective for gonorrhea.
