সোনাপাতা গুঁড়া 

সোনাপাতা বীরুৎ জাতীয় পাতা।  দেখতে অনেকটা মেহেদি পাতার মতো হলেও হালকা বুনো গন্ধ আছে।  পাতার রং কাঁচা অবস্থায় হলুদাভ সবুজ এবং শুকানো হলে হলুদাভ সোনালি বর্ণ হয়।

চমৎকার ভেষজ গুণাবলির জন্য এই পাতা বেশ সমাদৃত।
সোনাপাতা (Senna Leaf) গুঁড়ার পুষ্টিগুণ—

— এ পাতা খানিকটা পিচ্ছিল হওয়ায় মানবদেহের বৃহদন্ত্রে পানি ও ইলেকট্রোলাইট শোষন বাধাপ্রাপ্ত হয়। ফলে অন্ত্রের উপাদানগুলোর ভলিউম চাপ বৃদ্ধি করে ও কোলনের সঞ্চালন উদ্দীপ্ত করে।

এ কারণে সোনাপাতাকে কোষ্ঠ্যকাঠিন্য রোগের মহৌষধ বলা হয়।

Senna Leaf Powder
